Minneapolis Children’s Crisis Nursery  (Cooks for Kids)

 

Help prevent child abuse and neglect in a simple and fun way that can easily fit into your schedule.  Groups of 4-6 members plan the meal, purchase groceries, cook, serve and clean-up.  Food is on site.  There are two shelters: Golden Valley and South Minneapolis.

 

New Hope Center/Minneapolis

 

A Four month residential Chemical dependency program. Plan a meal, purchase groceries, cook, serve and clean-up And provide a ministry through music.  Contact person is

Panera Bakery

 

Groups of about 2 are needed on Monday nights to pick up left over baked goods and then package them up into smaller bags and deliver to Raspberry Ridge in Hopkins.  This is offered 4 times a month.  Contact person is Patty S. in the church office.

 

Marie Sanvik – Homeless Shelter in Minneapolis

 

A group of about 10 or 12 provide a worship time and then help serve a meal.  They make the meal we only serve it.  Also there is an opportunity to sort out donations.  Contact person is Scott R. Call office for contact information.
