Become a Biblically Functioning Community

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together nd had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Everyday they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."
Acts 2:42-47

Purpose
Glorify God by connecting people with God, each other and a lost world as we seek to lead people into becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Core Values
Even though our individual values may differ in relation to serving Christ, there are some values we hold in common.

   We believe that...

  • The Bible is the standard of truth and the final authority for all matters of Christian faith and conduct.
  • Lost people matter to God, and we therefore will maximize our opportunities to introduce them to Him.
  • The teaching of Biblical principles is essential to the development of fully devoted followers of Christ.
  • God alone is worthy of our worship, and we regularly gather as a body of believers to glorify and praise Him.
  • As members of His family, God calls us to appropriate His power through corporate prayer to change the world in which we live and the lives of those around us.
  • Devoted followers of Christ energize their daily lives and deepen their relationship with Him through regular personal prayer and Bible study.
  • Each follower of Christ possesses one or more spiritual gifts, and the church functions best when its people serve in capacities consistent with their individual gifts.
  • The development of Christ-centered, loving, authentic relationships among followers of Christ creates a community within which we grow, serve, support and challenge one another.
